Brendan Loughrey

In 1999, after an extensive search through literally thousands of applicants in Ireland by the then largest Irish pub in North America - the Seanachie in Nashville, TN - Brendan was offered the prestigious position of House Musician. It was there, in the heart of Music City, audiences discovered Brendan's uncompromising, powerful and heartfelt singing and song writing talents.

Born and raised in County Donegal, Ireland, Brendan grew up in a home filled with the strong family tradition of music, song and storytelling. Very quickly becoming a little local celebrity, Brendan was immediately recognized for his uniquely powerful and heartfelt renditions of the Irish songs and ballads that he'd grown up listening to. With a replica Chuck Berry electric guitar at age 15, Brendan began his song writing and performing journey...
